Day #46: Ready to Pour the Slab

Yeah! The rain finally stayed away, and now the slab is ready to be poured. Mom and Dad went this afternoon and took most of these pictures. The concrete guy thought they were the young couple who were building with their inlaws, but then he found out THEY were the inlaws. They plan on pouring the slab tomorrow although it's forecasted to rain. We'll see!

Then this evening JC and I went. I pretended to knock on the front door...




...then JC pretended to answer.


Here's the base for the storm shelter. That room isn't going anywhere!
