It's been exciting having the pond. (no snakes spotted.......yet....) We've had a few ducks. But they haven't been back in awhile. JC put some minnows in the pond to take care of the mosquito larva. It has REALLY helped. LOTS of frogs. We had wild flowers for awhile, but we let Dad mow them down so the snakes could hide :) Some berries are growing wild. We thought they were blackberries but a friend says they are dewberries.
