JC made his 1st business trip overseas this month. He was scheduled to go to Japan, China, and Malaysia.

So for fun, I put this map in the kitchen so the kids could see where he was while the planes were in the air. (I could watch online to see his progress)

While there, the jet lag was MISERABLE. It took 3 days to bounce back, and even then, he was up at 3 am (4pm our time) and we would video chat with him for hours until he left for work.

Poor thing was cramped into a tiny room with just a bed against the wall and a desk. He had a good experience otherwise. Luckily they let him skip China and Malaysia since he wasn't needed much anyways, and he had already spent a whole week in Japan. He loved the food (which he was afraid he'd hate) and he even brought back some strange flavored kit kats for us to try: Banana, Wasabi, Cherry Blossom, and Green Tea! He also brought me back some authentic chopsticks that I'm afraid to use because they look TOO nice. The girls got wooden Japanese dolls and JP got a little Japan airplane.
