The Drama Continues

After being home for one day, I noticed Josie's skin and eyes were turning yellow. So we called the doctor and they sent us to the hospital for a bili test. The jaundice was coming back. So we had a bili-bed delivered to our home. We called her our little glow worm:
After 24 hours, she was sleeping too much, would not wake to eat, and was not making enough dirty diapers. So we called the doc again and he told us to take her to the ER. Sure enough her numbers were rising again and she was likely dehydrated from not eating enough. So she was admitted to the hospital and we stayed there from Saturday to Monday. She had an IV and we stayed at the hospital with her in the NICU so she could eat every 3 hours. We knew she'd be fine, it was just a long waiting game! In the end it was probably best for me, because I was able to rest, heal, and eat while waiting for her to get better.

The kids celebrated a 2nd homecoming by "updating" her sign:
